Boca Hydro Sulfate of Potash 0-0-52
Chloride-Free Water-Soluble Potassium & Sulfur for Bloom, Fruiting, Hydroponics, Fertigation & Soil Growing
Boca Hydro Sulfate of Potash (SOP) 0-0-52 is a high-purity, water-soluble potassium sulfate fertilizer designed to provide a clean source of 52% Soluble Potash (K2O) and 18% Sulfur (S).
Potassium is essential for flowering, fruit development, sugar movement, fruit firmness, root strength, water regulation, stress tolerance, and overall plant performance. Sulfur supports protein formation, enzyme activity, oil production, and healthy plant metabolism.
Unlike potassium chloride, also known as muriate of potash, sulfate of potash is chloride-free, making it a preferred potassium source for sensitive crops, high-value plants, hydroponics, fruit trees, vegetables, ornamentals, and container growing.
Ideal for adding potassium and sulfur without adding nitrogen, making it especially useful during bloom, fruiting, finishing, and potassium correction programs.
| High Potassium Formula | Provides 52% Soluble Potash to support flowering, fruit development, fruit sizing, sugar movement, firmness, and overall crop quality. |
|---|---|
| Essential Sulfur Source | Supplies 18% sulfur to support amino acid formation, protein synthesis, enzyme activity, oil production, and healthy plant metabolism. |
| Chloride-Free Nutrition | A cleaner potassium source than muriate of potash for chloride-sensitive crops, hydroponics, containers, fruit trees, vegetables, and ornamentals. |
| No Nitrogen Added | Excellent for bloom and fruiting stages when plants need additional potassium without pushing excessive leafy growth. |
| Supports Fruit Quality | Helps improve fruit firmness, sugar content, flavor development, shelf life, color, and overall harvest quality when used as part of a complete feeding program. |
| Flexible Application | Suitable for hydroponic reservoirs, fertigation systems, irrigation injectors, foliar sprays, soil drenches, pots, containers, and direct soil applications. |
| Hydroponics | Provides a clean potassium and sulfur source for custom hydroponic nutrient programs where chloride-free nutrition is preferred. |
|---|---|
| Fertigation | Suitable for fertilizer injectors and irrigation systems when potassium and sulfur are needed without adding nitrogen. |
| Soil Growing | Can be used in garden beds, raised beds, fruit trees, field crops, and landscape plantings as a potassium and sulfur supplement. |
| Pots & Containers | Useful for container-grown plants that need additional potassium during bloom, fruiting, or periods of heavy nutrient demand. |
| Foliar Feeding | Can be used as a properly diluted foliar spray when fast supplemental potassium and sulfur support is desired. |
| Fruit Trees & Gardens | Suitable for citrus, avocado, mango, tomatoes, peppers, leafy greens, flowering plants, ornamentals, and other potassium-demanding crops. |
| Sulfate of Potash | Provides potassium and sulfur in a chloride-free form. It is preferred for sensitive crops, hydroponics, fertigation, fruit production, and high-performance growing programs. |
|---|---|
| Muriate of Potash | Also called potassium chloride. It is a potassium source but contains chloride, which may not be ideal for chloride-sensitive crops or precision growing systems. |
| Best Choice for Quality Crops | Sulfate of potash is commonly selected when growers want potassium for bloom, fruiting, and crop quality without adding chloride or nitrogen. |
| Potassium Demand | Plants often require higher potassium during flowering, fruit set, fruit sizing, and heavy production stages. |
|---|---|
| Fruit Quality | Potassium helps regulate sugar movement, water balance, firmness, color, flavor, and shelf life in many fruiting crops. |
| Stress Support | Adequate potassium nutrition helps plants manage water movement, stomatal function, heat stress, drought stress, and general environmental pressure. |
| Sulfur Function |
Sulfur is important for amino acids, protein formation, enzyme activity, chlorophyll development, and normal plant growth. |
