Boca Hydro Calcium Nitrate Prime

Boca Hydro Calcium Nitrate Prime

Premium Water-Soluble 17-0-0 Calcium Nitrate for Hydroponics, Coco, Soil, Foliar Feeding & Fertigation

Boca Hydro Calcium Nitrate Prime is a premium, fully water-soluble calcium nitrate fertilizer designed for hydroponics, soil, coco, container plants, foliar feeding and fertigation systems. This high-performance hydroponics grade formula provides fast-available nitrate nitrogen and highly soluble calcium to support strong vegetative growth, healthy root tips, firm stems, flowering, fruit development and overall crop quality.

Calcium is one of the most important secondary nutrients in hydroponic and soilless growing systems because plants have no soil reserve to draw from. Consistent calcium availability helps support strong cell walls, vigorous new growth, healthy root tips and improved flower and fruit quality.

Calcium also helps reduce common crop issues such as weak stems, distorted new leaves and blossom-end rot in fruiting crops.

17-0-0 Formula 33% Calcium 16.7% Nitrate Nitrogen Hydroponics Grade Fully Water Soluble Coco & Fertigation Compatible
Product Benefits
Fast-Available Nitrate Nitrogen Provides highly available nitrate nitrogen to support vigorous vegetative growth and efficient nutrient uptake.
Highly Soluble Calcium Supplies calcium to support strong cell walls, healthy root tips, firm stems and vigorous new growth.
Flower & Fruit Quality Consistent calcium availability supports flowering, fruit development, firmness and overall crop quality.
Hydroponics & Coco Ideal for hydroponic systems, coco coir and other soilless programs where calcium availability must be supplied through the nutrient solution.
Fruiting Crops Helps support calcium-demanding crops and reduce common issues such as weak stems, distorted new leaves and blossom-end rot.
Versatile Application Suitable for hydroponics, coco, soil, pots, containers, foliar feeding and fertigation systems.
Recommended Crops & Uses
Vegetables & Fruiting Crops Excellent for tomatoes, peppers, cucumbers, strawberries, lettuce, herbs, cannabis and other fast-growing or fruiting crops.
Fruit Trees Suitable for citrus, avocado, mango and other fruit trees as part of a complete fertilizer program.
Ornamentals & Containers Useful for flowering plants, ornamentals, pots, containers and other calcium-demanding plants.

Mixing Instructions & Stock Solution
Water-Soluble Product Boca Hydro Calcium Nitrate Prime should be dissolved in water before application. Do not apply dry product directly to plant foliage or roots.
Stock Solution Dissolve 1,000 grams (2.2 lbs) in enough distilled water to make a final volume of 1 gallon of concentrate.
Concentrate Strength Approximately 0.264 grams dry product per 1 mL concentrate.
Measuring Accuracy Product density may vary. Use a digital pocket scale for accurate dry-product measurement.
Stock Tank Separation Keep concentrated calcium nitrate stock separate from concentrated phosphate and sulfate fertilizers.
Important Mixing Note: Do not mix concentrated calcium nitrate stock solution directly with concentrated phosphate or sulfate fertilizers. Keep calcium nitrate in a separate stock tank when using products such as MAP, MKP, sulfate of potash or magnesium sulfate. These products may be combined after proper dilution in the final irrigation water.
Application & Dosing Guide
Hydroponics / Coco / Soilless Light Feed - 80 ppm Ca: 1.3 g per gallon or 5 mL / 1 tsp concentrate
Standard Feed - 100 ppm Ca: 1.6 g per gallon or 6 mL / 1.2 tsp concentrate
Heavy Feed - 150 ppm Ca: 2.4 g per gallon or 9 mL / 1.8 tsp concentrate
Monitor EC, pH, crop stage and total nutrient strength. Use as part of a complete nutrient program supplying phosphorus, potassium, magnesium, sulfur and micronutrients.
Foliar Spray Maintenance: 1 g per gallon or 4 mL / 3/4 tsp concentrate
Deficiency Support: 2-3 g per gallon or 8-12 mL / 1.5-2.25 tsp concentrate
Apply during the cool part of the day. Avoid high heat, drought stress and intense sunlight. Test on a small area before broad application.
Pots & Containers Small Pots / Young Plants: 0.5-1 g per gallon or 2-4 mL / 1/2-3/4 tsp concentrate
Medium Pots / Established Plants: 1-2 g per gallon or 4-8 mL / 3/4-1.5 tsp concentrate
Large Pots / Heavy Feeders: 2-3 g per gallon or 8-12 mL / 1.5-2.25 tsp concentrate
Apply as a normal watering solution until the growing media is evenly moist.
Soil Drench Light Feeding: 5-10 g per 5 gallons or 1.25-2.5 tbsp concentrate
Heavy Feeding: 20-25 g per 5 gallons or 5-6 tbsp concentrate
Apply around the root zone and water in evenly. Use lower rates for routine feeding and higher rates for heavy-feeding crops or visible calcium demand.
Fertigation / 1:100 Injector Target 80 ppm Ca: 130 g per gallon of stock solution
Target 100 ppm Ca: 160 g per gallon of stock solution
Target 150 ppm Ca: 240 g per gallon of stock solution
Inject at 1:100.
Adjust according to crop stage, water quality, overall feed program and target calcium level.
Complete Nutrient Program: Boca Hydro Calcium Nitrate Prime supplies calcium and nitrate nitrogen but does not supply phosphorus, potassium, magnesium, sulfur or micronutrients. Use it as part of a balanced fertilizer program.
Hydroponics & Coco: Calcium demand varies by crop, growth stage, water source and overall nutrient strength. Monitor EC, pH and plant response and account for calcium already present in source water or other fertilizers.
Stock Tank Compatibility: Keep concentrated calcium nitrate separate from MAP, MKP, sulfate of potash, magnesium sulfate and other concentrated phosphate or sulfate fertilizers. They may be combined after adequate dilution in the final irrigation water.
Grower Tip: Consistent root-zone moisture, healthy roots, adequate aeration and proper transpiration are important for effective calcium movement through the plant.
Storage: Store tightly sealed in a cool, dry location. Protect from moisture and humidity. Keep away from heat and incompatible materials. Keep out of reach of children and pets.
