Each granule contains a powerful 25% elemental zinc concentration and is designed to release gradually into the soil for up to six months. This controlled-release performance helps maintain zinc availability over an extended period while reducing the need for frequent applications.

Zinc is essential for chlorophyll formation, enzyme activity, plant hormone regulation, protein production, carbohydrate metabolism, healthy shoot development and efficient nutrient utilization. Although plants require zinc in relatively small amounts, inadequate zinc can significantly reduce tree vigor, leaf development, flowering, fruit set and crop quality.

Application and Dosing Guide
Young Citrus Trees Apply 1-2 tablespoons per tree approximately every six months.
Use the lower rate for newly planted, small or lightly deficient trees.
Mature Citrus Trees Apply 1/4-1/2 cup per tree approximately every six months.
Adjust according to tree size, soil conditions, tissue testing and observed deficiency.
Other Fruit Trees Begin with the rate appropriate for a similarly sized citrus tree and adjust according to crop requirements, soil testing and local recommendations.
Potted Citrus Use sparingly according to container diameter, soil volume and plant size. Apply evenly to the soil surface and water thoroughly.

How to Apply
Step 1 Measure the appropriate amount according to the tree's age, size, growing conditions and level of zinc deficiency.
Step 2 Distribute the granules evenly beneath the canopy or around the dripline rather than placing the entire amount in one location.
Step 3 Keep concentrated granules away from the trunk, stems, exposed roots and the immediate crown of the plant.
Step 4 Lightly incorporate the granules into the upper few inches of soil when practical.
Step 5 Water the treated area thoroughly after application to begin activating the granules and moving zinc into the root zone.
