Boca Hydro Chelated Iron EDTA 14% is a concentrated, fully chelated and water-soluble iron micronutrient designed to correct and prevent iron deficiency while supporting healthy chlorophyll production, photosynthesis, enzyme activity and vigorous green growth.
Iron deficiency commonly appears as interveinal chlorosis, where the tissue between leaf veins becomes pale yellow while the veins remain greener. Symptoms normally appear first on younger growth because iron has limited mobility within the plant.
EDTA chelation helps keep iron soluble and available to plant roots in neutral to moderately acidic nutrient solutions and growing media. Boca Hydro Iron EDTA is best suited for approximately pH 4.0–6.5 and provides a clean iron source for hydroponics, coco, rockwool, fertigation, foliar feeding, soil drenches, containers, vegetables, fruit crops, ornamentals, trees and turf.
Because this product contains 14% chelated iron, only small quantities are needed. Accurate measurement is especially important when preparing hydroponic nutrient solutions and concentrated stock solutions.
