Asian Citrus Psyllid ( Diaphorina Citri )  Responsible for citrus greening, can be the most damaging insect of all for citrus.

Once your trees have greening, it will drastically affect multiple functions of your plants health, from leaf drop, to branch die off, to uneven fruit development and lower weights. The best method is always prevention. There are a few ways you can manage psyillids, but the best bet is to never get them in the first place.

Most insecticides are ineffective and repeated poisoning of trees can be just as damaging as the psyllids themselves.

ACP Are most prevalent in summer months, when spraying trees can be damaging, oil based sprays, while effective, can burn older leaves off and cause burned tips.

There are 2 ways to use these lures, if you HAVE psyllid place them around your trees and continue spraying and treating your trees, as the time passes your trees will have less and less, and eventually you will be rid of them, this is a 3 step process, lures / traps, Imidacloprid and spraying will be required.

If you do NOT have psyllid, do NOT place them near your trees, place them around your land, far away, and lure any psyllid that might be on the way into a trap, upwind or downwind is the same, not only can these be used to test if psyllid are in your area, you can send them to be tested to see if they even are carrying HLB. Not every psyllid will test positive.

Pack contains 1 Diaphorina Citri pheromone lure in tube form, simply cut with a scissor into 10 pieces as needed. Traps not included.

Can be used with all yellow sticky traps or delta traps, simply place in hole or stick on glue.

Our ACP lures are the same lures used by the US Department of Agriculture (USDA), California Department of Food and Agriculture (CDFA) and Florida Department of Agriculture and Consumer services (FDACS) entomologists for use in monitoring and trapping programs for Diaphorina Citri.

Field life: 1 -3 months depending on environmental conditions.

Shelf life: 3 Years if refrigerated. For short term storage of less than 2 months, store in cool indoor area (or air-conditioned area if available). For long term storage of more than 2 months, store in refrigerator.

ACPs are attracted to all citrus, and it is rumored they can smell it from very far away.

Environmentally friendly ACP management  (which emit the nature-identical ACP pheromone) are effective for managing low to medium levels of ACP infestation. At high levels of infestation, additional measures such as the use of insecticides may be needed to supplement the environmentally friendly solutions.
